I've listened to plenty of different podcasts, but recently all I've been listening to are Debbie Millman's "Design Matters", and Sarah Silverman. Both so good, for very different reasons.
I kind of forgot about Design Matters for a while myself. Debbie Millman is such a good interviewer... it's always astounding how much background research she's done.
This was an especially great issue! It's always enjoyable to read these, but this one in particular does a wonderful job of integrating life and work into a seamless, flowing whole -- it's very immersive all the way through. The images illustrate exactly the right moments, too, which adds a lot to the feeling of being there.
Sorry if this is more about the construction of the issue than the issue itself -- it's just a really well-put-together piece! Hopefully there's value in comments about the technical side as well. Keep up the awesome work!
Thank you so much!! Really kind words. And I appreciate the feedback on construction a lot; I try to be thoughtful about the design and structure of what I put out there and it's honestly so cool when someone notices that. I'm experimenting with ways to balance the discursive/personal with the procedural in my issues, so your comment was particularly encouraging and timely. Thanks again.
Podcasts? I'll hit up single episodes as people recommend them, but the 4 I listen to every episode of (and have from the beginning...eek...so many hours!)
